Well christmas is officially over. Thank freakin' god. I like seeing everyone and stuff, but man is it hectic and exhausting. It did make me produce two paintings, though, so I can't hate it completely. I start work on another small one tonight, which will probably go to a friend of mine if it comes out well. Giving art as gifts is very foreign to me. It's more than a little awkward, because it's like, "Why would you want this?" But everyone seems to like getting it, so... yeah. It's been my experience that people who have no artistic leanings themselves are pretty easy to impress when it comes to that sort of thing.

In other news, I got a Dick Blick gift card for christmas and I need to decide what to spend it on. So many choices, so little ability to make a decision. Hmm...
