Well christmas is officially over. Thank freakin' god. I like seeing everyone and stuff, but man is it hectic and exhausting. It did make me produce two paintings, though, so I can't hate it completely. I start work on another small one tonight, which will probably go to a friend of mine if it comes out well. Giving art as gifts is very foreign to me. It's more than a little awkward, because it's like, "Why would you want this?" But everyone seems to like getting it, so... yeah. It's been my experience that people who have no artistic leanings themselves are pretty easy to impress when it comes to that sort of thing. In other news, I got a D

It's been like a year since I added a journal here. And months and months since I've uploaded anything. For shame! But I'm enjoying the first few days of winter break now, so I have no school work to do and a bunch of things to upload - so here I am. I've added a few things so far and I don't know if they're showing up for not. DA's revamp is nice, but if I have to re-upload these things like 12 times each then I'm going to be mightily pissed. We'll see. I plan to do a bunch of things over break, so hopefully I'm have stuff to upload fairly regularly for a little while.

I scanned a sketch tonight and took it into Illustrator, just like I used to do back in the day when I actually drew stuff. Well you know that thing they say about practice making perfect? Yeah, they need to add a little something to that little nugget: lack of practice will KILL YOUR SKILLZ DEAD! :dead: :angered:  :cries: This definitely sucks a big one.
